I started playing the piano at four years of age, sitting at a piano close to my home, following the finger numbers set out by 'Leila Fletcher' learning new songs and making up my own. My parents were wonderful in giving me and my siblings piano lessons. I started lessons at age seven with Judy Hill an outgoing, passionate, kind teacher and I have been a life long student of piano and music ever since.
I was privileged to have many amazing Piano Teachers in my life including Jeanne Campbell, Robin and Winnifred Wood and I received a teaching degree A.V.C.M. (Associate of the Victoria Conservatory of Music) with the Victoria Conservatory of Music in 1989 under the direction of Robin and Winifred Wood the founding members of this wonderful school.

I have been teaching privately for over thirty years to students of all ages and abilities. I am privileged to have a diverse studio with many different students. I am classically trained and use this for the foundation of my teaching. I enjoy playing and teaching all styles of piano . My goal as a teacher is to teach all the necessary skills to a student so that they can become their own best teacher with good practice habits, have a joy, passion about music and become life long players.
